The problem
The gazette team received around 500 affidavit-based name-change requests per day. Ten people working 8-hour days completed about 160 drafts daily, creating a growing backlog of manual retyping and formatting.

- Power Automate workflow that captures scanned affidavit images
- Microsoft AI models extract the affidavit content
- Gemini rewrites the text into standard gazette language
- Output populates a pre-formatted Word template with date and file number inserted automatically
